About & mission
falcohmsystem.com is the official website of Falc'Ohm System ASBL.
Who are we?
Falc'Ohm System ASBL is a non-profit association under Belgian law, founded on 18 February 2020 and based in Glabais, Walloon Brabant. It brings together music and sound enthusiasts around a shared project: a sound system, that is a sound reinforcement system run by a collective, which travels to bring events to life.
The first events listed on this website date back to 2018, even before the association was founded. Since then, the association has organised, co-organised or joined parties, festivals and community projects in Walloon Brabant, Brussels and Liège. In 2025 and 2026, it notably co-organised in Brussels two editions of Into the Rave, Shadow Halloween, the Brussels Bass Festival, a Free TeKno Open Air and ACID FARM.
Our mission
Fostering the organisation of events and sharing around electronic music: by organising parties where artists, collectives and audiences meet, and by providing our sound system and technical know-how to make these events possible.
Our statutory purpose
This mission comes directly from the association's statutes. Their article 3 states (translated from French):
“The purpose of the association is to foster the organisation of events and sharing around electronic music, mainly through the organisation of parties and the hire of the sound equipment that makes them possible. […] The association carries out its activities without any profit motive and without any religious, philosophical or political affiliation.”
The statutes also provide that directors serve free of charge (article 18) and that, should the association be dissolved, its assets are allocated to a purpose as close as possible to its statutory purpose (article 34).
Statutes of 18 February 2020, published in the annexes of the Belgian Official Gazette (Moniteur belge) on 5 March 2020. Read the statutes in the Belgian Official Gazette (in French)
Our objectives
- Organise carefully crafted cultural and festive events, open to everyone.
- Give a stage to artists and collectives, especially emerging talents.
- Work with non-profits, cultural venues and collectives to bring cultural projects to life, with our equipment and technical know-how.
- Share technical know-how: sound, lighting, scenography, equipment maintenance and restoration.
- Stand for inclusive and respectful partying.
What we do
Our activities are organised around five programmes: cultural and festive events, festivals and public events, collaborations with cultural and community venues, a stage for artists and collectives, and the sharing of technical know-how.
How we work
The association has 5 members and relies on 104 volunteers. Together, they prepare, set up and operate the sound system at events. People who would like to volunteer, occasionally or over the long term, are welcome.
We work in partnership: we co-organise parties and festivals with other collectives and cultural venues, and join festivals and public events at the invitation of their organisers.

Hire, services and events: reinvested revenues
To fund its activities, Falc'Ohm System ASBL also hires out its equipment (sound system, lighting, technical gear) and provides technical services: sound reinforcement, lighting, sound system tuning, speaker restoration, scenography and decoration. These services are provided by the association itself.
This is a secondary activity, provided for by article 3 of the statutes as a means of making electronic music events possible. Revenues from hire, technical services and events are reinvested to organise new events and buy better audiovisual equipment.
